Jetix is a Worldwide children's television programming brand owned by The Walt Disney Company. The Jetix brand is used for blocks and channels featuring action-related and adventure-related live-action and animated programming. On Febraury 13, 2009 the Jetix block was, as well as Toon Disney, replaced by Disney XD.

Recently, Disney announced that the Jetix channel in certain countries (namely Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Bulgaria) will be renamed to The Disney Channel, marking that channel's first introduction in these countries. The change happened at September 19, 2009. [1] Jetix Russia was not renamed at this time. There also is nothing known about the Dutch Jetix.
